Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Trauma Intervention Programs of San Diego, Inc. We are continually seeking compassionate individuals who want to take action in making a difference in our community. Joining the TIP team is truly a life changing volunteer opportunity.
During the TIP training academy volunteers will learn the five emotional first aid skills of reaching out, protecting, reassuring, organizing and reinforcing. Becoming a volunteer requires mandatory attendance at the 40 hours of classroom training, a 3-month field-training program, plus 3-hour continuing education meetings once per month.
