When trauma occurs Trauma Intervention Programs of San Diego County, Inc. dispatches volunteers to provide emotional first aid to survivors of tragedy in order to ease their immediate suffering and facilitate their healing and long-term recovery. 

As a non-profit organization, TIP is deeply committed to ensuring that emotionally traumatized individuals receive the care and assistance they need during the most critical moments. In close partnership with local emergency services, TIP brings a vital human element to emergency response—addressing the emotional needs of those left behind. 

All advertisements and donations directly fund the production and printing of the TIP Resource Guide which is offered hard copy free of charge to individuals and families in need and is also available on our website.
