Why I Joined TIP: I joined because I love learning and trying new things and meeting new people. Being a volunteer that is able to assist first responders and families in meaningful ways was very appealing to me. The positive emotional impact I can have on someone going through a difficult situation is so rewarding.

Activities Outside TIP: Outside of TIP I am a small business owner and am active in many Chambers of Commerce here in North San Diego County. I am a busy wife and mother of four beautiful children. I am very active in my children’s school and sports activities as a volunteer as well. I am a member of Mission San Luis Rey Parish and help lead a religious education classes for children and their parents. I love to spend time with friends, read, walk, swim, go to the beach with family and friends, go out to eat, and travel.

Fun Fact About Volunteer: A fun fact about me is that I have only one “L” in my name and am named after the song “Michelle” by the Beatles.
